The HAND Collaborative Emerging Leaders Committee is a group of professionals from diverse fields who meaningfully engage in the issue of affordable housing and help support Nevada HAND’s mission through ambassadorship, volunteering, and advocacy.

Membership in the HAND Collaborative Emerging Leaders Committee is a strictly volunteer activity, and does not constitute employment or other formal affiliation with Nevada HAND, Inc.
Member Expectations
- Make a $100 philanthropic contribution to Nevada HAND’s Resident Services Program.
- Attend all meetings and events.
- Take an active role as a fundraising ambassador at the Nevada HAND Block Party on October 16, 2025.
- Build the knowledge and confidence to act as an advocate for affordable housing and Nevada HAND.
Schedule of Meetings and Events
- Friday May 30, 2025 – 3pm – Kick Off Your Service. In person at a Nevada HAND property.
- Friday June 27, 2025 – 3pm – Deepen Your Knowledge. In person at a Nevada HAND construction site.
- Thursday July 31, 2025 – 3pm – Volunteer Project Proposal. In person location TBD.
- Friday August 29, 2025 – 3pm – Learn More About Service Leadership. In person location TBD.
- September Cohort Social Month – Various times and locations.
- Friday September 26, 2025 – 4:30pm – Prepare to be an Effective Ambassador: training for your fundraising ambassador role at the Nevada HAND Block Party. Zoom meeting.
- Thursday October 16, 2025 – Fundraising Ambassador at the Nevada HAND Block Party. 5:00pm – 9:00pm
- Friday November 7, 2025 – 5:30pm – Reflect, Connect, and Celebrate: Alumni event with previous HAND Collaborative members and Nevada HAND leaders. Nevada HAND corporate office.
