  • Event Format: Fun, informal, outdoor celebration with games, music, and great food and drinks.
  • Attire is Picnic Chic: We encourage guests to dress festive, laid-back, and comfortable!
  • Party Policies: All attendees must be age 21 or over, and this will be a party just for humans (no pets, please).

Party with a Purpose

We are the state’s largest provider of affordable housing with 36 communities, 8,200 residents, 5,000 housing units, and another 2,000 units under development. We recognize that affordable rent is just one aspect of what people need to thrive, and our housing model includes personalized, supportive Resident Services offered on-site at each Nevada HAND community to help families and seniors lead happier, healthier, more stable and successful lives. We are also a well-managed 501(c)3 organization with over 30 years of experience, and our sustainable financial model means your donation will go straight to the Resident Services that make Nevada HAND “More Than a Home” for low-income seniors, working adults, and children.   

We are thrilled to host our second annual Block Party, a fun night out and an important fundraiser in support of Nevada HAND’s mission of providing affordable housing solutions and supportive Resident Services for low-income seniors and families. Proceeds from the 2024 Nevada HAND Block Party will fund a critical source of support for low-income seniors: on-site food pantries. No one should have to choose between dinner and medical care, but many low-income seniors – even those living in affordable housing – struggle to afford all their monthly necessities. The on-site Senior Choice Food Pantries at Nevada HAND communities help ensure that residents have access to free, fresh, healthy food choices just a few steps away from their front doors. Your support of the 2024 Nevada HAND Block Party will help stock our pantry shelves and bring essential nutrition home for low-income seniors.
