Nevada HAND 2026 Block Party

Join us October 15th for a great night out, and help Pack the Pantries for low-income seniors!

Nevada HAND’s annual Block Party is a fun, informal night out at Fergusons Downtown with delicious food and drinks and great company. But most importantly, the party is a celebration of how our sponsors, donors, and friends come together in support of Nevada HAND’s mission and raise critical funds for our free on-site Senior Choice Food Pantries.

By attending and donating at the Block Party, you will help Pack the Pantries — supporting our free, on-site Senior Choice Food Pantries that help ensure low-income seniors never have to choose between paying bills and having regular nutritious meals.

  • Date/Time: Thursday, October 15, 5:30pm – 8:30pm
  • Location: Fergusons Downtown (a beautiful, chill outdoor space), 1028 Fremont St., Las Vegas, NV 89101
  • Parking: Ample nearby parking on neighboring streets and the Llama Lot at 900 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
  • What to expect: great food and drinks from local Las Vegas partners, fun music, lawn games, and plenty of time to enjoy a beautiful fall night with a wonderful community of people!
  • Attire: Dress for an outdoor event in your favorite festive, casual, comfortable outfit.
  • 21+ Event: As the open bars will be serving delicious signature cocktails, all party guests must be age 21 or older.

Nevada HAND is the state’s largest developer, builder, and manager of affordable rental homes for low-income seniors and working families. We have been a 501(c)(3) non-profit partner in the Southern Nevada community since 1993, and today our portfolio includes 38 communities serving over 8,300 residents.

We recognize that affordable rent is just one aspect of what people need to thrive, and we are committed to creating “More Than a Home” for low-income individuals in Southern Nevada. Our supportive Resident Services program, with professional coordinators located on-site in each community, connects residents to critical resources that help them lead happier, healthier, more stable and successful lives.

The Block Party supports an impactful part of our Resident Services offerings: free, on-site food pantries available to low-income senior residents who call Nevada HAND home. Even with affordable housing, many seniors on a fixed income struggle to afford all the monthly necessities, including groceries, utility bills, healthcare, and transportation.

By attending the Block Party, you help stock the free senior pantries with fresh food and cooking staples, ensuring that low-income seniors never have to choose between paying essential bills and having regular, nutritious meals.
