KLAS: Several federal, state and local resource groups gathered at the Desert Breeze Community Center on Jan. 5, 2024 to highlight the new and existing programs to help. The resources ranged from financial and housing to food security and utility bill assistance. The housing forum was organized largely by Congresswoman Susie Lee, who began the address by saying the state is in a housing crisis and it is all hands on deck to help.

Nevada HAND's Resident Services team hosts back-to-school events at each family apartment community to get students ready for school. During these events, students receive free backpacks and school supplies, dental screenings with a fluoride treatment, immunization check-ups, and more! This event is free to all residents to set them up for a successful school year.
