The BEST of Las Vegas has been found at Nevada HAND. On Sunday, December 13, the Las Vegas Review-Journal announced the 2020 Best of Las Vegas winners, and Nevada HAND won Silver for Best Nonprofit Organization. Additionally, Nevada HAND’s assisted living communities won Silver for Best Active Adult/55+ Community and, for the fourth year in a row, Gold for Best Senior Community.
This year was the first year Nevada HAND was nominated for and voted Best Nonprofit Organization, so this recognition has been a tremendous milestone and accomplishment for our organization. Our assisted living communities have been awarded Best of Las Vegas awards for Best Active Adult/55+ Community and Best Senior Community since 2017, so this year’s awards remind us of the incredible care provided by our assisted living staff. Nevada HAND’s Assisted Living awards have included:
- 2017 Silver Best Active Adult/55+ Community
- 2017 Gold Best Senior Community, Real Estate
- 2018 Gold Best Senior Community
- 2019 Gold Best Active Adult/55+ Community
- 2019 Gold Best Senior Community
Nevada HAND’s President and CEO, Audra Hamernik, addressed a special thank you to our donors, partners, staff, residents, and the Southern Nevada community for these exceptional awards. For the full ‘thank you’ video from Audra, click here.
