We are thrilled to announce that our Resident Services program was recently awarded Certified Organization for Resident Engagement & Services (CORES) certification. CORES is an incredibly rigorous certification program that recognizes organizations across the country with a proven track record of providing quality resident services coordination in affordable rental housing. The CORES certification is managed by Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future and applications are reviewed by CORES staff and then an advanced review by external Peer Review Committee. Achieving CORES Certification signals an organization’s commitment to the highest standards for resident services, a deep commitment to resident health and well-being, and data-informed operations and decision making.
Nevada HAND’s supportive, on-site Resident Services make our communities “More Than a Home.” The program is designed around four pillars aligned with the social determinants of healthy communities: Economic Stability, Education, Health and Wellness, and Community Engagement. Personalized outreach is a hallmark of Resident Services, helping residents access programming and resources to support their unique needs.
